About Krista DeCoursin, DDS
Dr. Krista DeCoursin is one of the lead dentists at Austin Dental Spa and is passionate about transforming smiles—and lives—through advanced cosmetic and restorative dentistry. She brings warmth, skill, and an eye for detail to every patient she treats.
Dr. DeCoursin earned her dental degree from the University of Iowa, where she received the prestigious Oral Maxillofacial Pathology Award. During her time there, she also served at a Federally Qualified Health Clinic in West Des Moines, where she provided compassionate care to underserved patients.
With advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, she specializes in veneers, smile makeovers, Invisalign®, implant dentistry, and comprehensive restorative treatments. She’s especially passionate about helping her patients achieve healthy, confident smiles that truly reflect who they are.
Known for her empathetic nature and positive energy, Dr. DeCoursin takes the time to truly connect with each patient. She customizes every treatment plan to reflect their needs, lifestyle, and long-term goals. This summer, Dr. DeCoursin said “yes!” to the love of her life, Sam Froehlich, during a magical proposal at the top of Monte Baldo overlooking Lake Garda, Italy. The couple is planning an unforgettable wedding in Italy in the summer of 2026—so before long, you’ll be calling her Dr. Froehlich!
